Everyone of us have not been delighted about working from home.

Everyone of us were delighted much at our office either but at least we had all of the things that were necessary like peace + quiet.

My company sent everyone back to their home to work and now my everyday life is just filled with loud noises. My dog barks at every person walking by the window as well as every shadow. All of my children are noisy as well. They scream and play andaya definitely have a very loud neighbor that wants to do yard work every day when I’m trying to work. He uses the lawn mower, hedge clippers, or the incredibly loud and noisy weed wacker. The community and apartment is incredibly noisy and everyone of us find it difficult to focus on work with all of this noise. My partner tries to silence the dog and also our kids. He even talked to the neighbor about waiting to work until the afternoon. None of these things helped. There is a dog still barking while the kids are crying and the neighbor is still working outside. I’ve been looking for an office space close to the house. I noticed a number of commercial office spaces that were for rent. I also noticed multiple incubator spaces in the area. I was thinking about renting office space and my partner doesn’t like the idea of spending more money when we have a perfectly good place to work inside of the house. I don’t think he gets how hard it is to work.

I was in the city getting ready to leave the train station when I spotted a McDonalds.

I haven’t had a McDonald’s hamburger in a long long time and felt I deserved it.

But then I looked at the time for the next train and it was in four minutes so I decided to skip the burger and spare my body the grief. When I got home I had an egg and veggie omelet with rice. I think that sounds much healthier than a McDonald’s hamburger, don’t you? I know it’s okay once in a while, but I’ll skip this once. My HVAC service plan is about to expire soon so maybe it is time to set up a cleaning and maintenance appointment with the local store I bought the plan from. I have been running the fan on the unit almost continuously and I know that the unit is due for a cleaning so now is the perfect time to set it up. I’ve been sneezing a lot and I’m sure the ductwork needs cleaning along with the HEPA filter. I am always vacuuming the whole flat to try and keep the dust level down but there is a lot of stuff floating in the air that the AC unit has a better job at removing. I have a ppm meter and most of the time my flat’s air quality is very good. I am pretty good at keeping a clean house thanks to my mom. She would always vacuum at around 8:30 am when I was deep in my sleep. Thanks mom.

My friend just told me that tonight is going to be the coldest night yet for this year. I guess it is supposed to go below freezing tonight so my swim tomorrow morning is going to be a cold one. I didn’t take my ice water dip in the sea yet today because I had to travel an hour or so away to see the doctor about my shoulder pain. This is the reason I take the daily dip, to help reduce swelling in my joints and alleviate the pain. It works quite well along with taking turmeric. I’m sitting in front of my space heater because I plan on staying in my office all day and working, so I turned off the main heating unit in the house even though it is zone controlled. I normally heat up just the living room, kitchen, and office. But today, I am just in the office, so the small space heater is more efficient and cost effective for heating the room. It was one of the smallest portables they had in the store and it uses so little energy that running it for the evening doesn’t amount to much money. The HVAC professional told me that if I use this unit every day for a month on high it would only cost me about three dollars. That is pretty darn efficient. So buying this little space heater will end up saving me a good amount of money over the winter season. Maybe I can buy something special after the season is over to celebrate my smart purchase!
