My dwelling is quiet now that I have a new air conditioner.
- I had an air conditioner that I used for over fifteen years, & it was time for it to go.
It was quite old as you can really imagine. I was planning to just use it until it died. It really still worked fantastic when I got rid of it. The reason that I had to get rid of it was not because it didn’t work well. It was because the deranged thing made some of the loudest strangest noises that I have ever heard. It was really ridiculous. At first, the noises weren’t that loud. They were just little noises here & there. I could deal with that although it did annoy me a little bit. I was still determined to keep the air conditioner until it quit at that point. I slowly changed my mind as the air conditioner kept getting louder & louder. I woke up one night to one of the loudest noises I had ever heard it make, & it scared me so badly that I could not fall back asleep for almost three hours. That air conditioner kept me from getting a fantastic night’s sleep for about three more nights after that before I decided to get rid of it. I am so thankful that I did not keep it until it stopped working because I would have been so irritated if I would have done that. My neighbors really would have hated me as well. My dwelling is nice & quiet once again, & I enjoy my new air conditioner.
