Yesterday had been a normal day for me until I came home that afternoon. It was the weekend and I had spent a long day out having some fun with some friends of mine and after having a long day I was looking forward to winding down but sitting on the couch and watching some TV and turning on my AC system. Unfortunately, when I arrived at home I noticed that there was something seriously wrong with my heating and AC system before I even looked at it. The HVAC system in my home is situated in a bit of an odd spot as it is right next to the front door. As soon as I opened the door and I stepped onto the carpeted floor I noticed that it was soggy and wet. I was immediately disgusted and surprised by the sudden water and looked to see where it was coming from and then I noticed that there was water leaking from the air conditioning system. Even though I didn't know much about HVAC systems and how they function I knew that this was a very bad sign and that I would need to call my heating and AC repair business right away. I started to think back to all those times when my HVAC company was recommending that I get my tune up and ignored them and I was wondering if this was a result of that. The news only went from bad to worse because when a technician arrived in my home he informed me that I had some serious damage to my air conditioning system and it would need to be repaired, he told me the cost of repairs and I wanted to faint. I decided to just completely remove the entire AC system and have a new one installed. Well, it wasn't going to be a cheap thing to install a brand new air conditioning system; it would be less expensive than if I were to have my old one repaired.
