This past weekend, I really wasn’t even trying to go shopping for anything, however I had everything I needed, I felt, however my friends said they had to pick up some air filters which happened to be on sale.
The HEPA filters were even on sale and I was checking them out and seeing if they had any HEPA filters that would fit my Heating and A/C system.
I was absolutely thrilled when I found some, however when I was talking to an expert, he said that we should consider the smart thermostats which were also on sale. I thought since I was getting a nice discount on the HEPA filters, I might as well check the smart thermostats out. We all looked at the unusual smart thermostats and they were all impressive in their own ways, but one friend said he wanted to go for a touch screen one, which was quite costly. I looked at a more basic model which was great because it claimed to save up to 15% on the energy bills and it could be controlled remotely with devices connected to the internet. I just couldn’t believe how cheap it was for such a nice thermostat as I had been using an old programmable one that cost me way more money. I felt like it was my lucky day and I rushed to install that new smart thermostat. It’s funny because even my friend who went for the touch screen thermostat said he should have gotten the one I got that was less than half the cost of the one he bought, he said it’s pointless to have a touchscreen since he only adjusts the temperature control settings these days with his phone.
