This past weekend, I really wasn’t even trying to go shopping for anything.
I had everything I needed, I felt, however my buddies said they had to pick up some air filters which happened to be on sale.
The HEPA filters were even on sale and I was checking them out and seeing if they had any HEPA filters that would fit my HVAC system. I was really glad when I found some. When I was talking to an expert, he said that we all should consider the smart thermostats which were also on sale. I thought since I was getting a great discount on the HEPA filters, I might as well check the smart temperature controls out. The two of us all looked at the different smart temperature controls and they were all impressive in their own ways, one friend said he wanted to go for a touch screen one, which was quite expensive. I looked at a more basic model which was nice because it claimed to save up to 15% on the energy bills and it could be controlled remotely with devices connected to the internet. I just couldn’t believe how cheap it was for such a nice thermostat as I had been using an old programmable one that cost me way more money. I felt like it was my lucky day and I rushed to install that new smart temperature control. It’s funny because even my friend who went for the touch screen thermostat said he should have gotten the one I got that was less than half the cost of the one he purchased, however he said it’s pointless to have a touchscreen since he only adjusts the temperature control settings these days with his phone.
