It might sound strange, but wouldn’t it be great if you could use your fireplace to heat other rooms in your lakehouse? You never know what you might come up with.
Since a fireplace only heats up the immediate room, it isn’t the most efficient type of heating for a huge lake house with rooms far away from the fireplace.
My office is on the opposite side of the lake house from the fire, so I don’t get a lot of heat in there. I’d like to see a zone control heater where you can direct the heat coming from the fireplace into other rooms. Maybe they already have this, but I haven’t seen it anywhere. Perhaps there is something out there that already does this kind of thing, but I’m not a Heating and Air Conditioning specialist. I am making one of my favorite dishes from scratch for the first time tonight. I am making chicken curry. I got some at a restaurant the other night, and it was really tasty, but the portion was so small for the price that I won’t go back there. Rather than spending the extra money I save from eating at Lake House, I would prefer to invest in a Heating and Air Conditioning service plan, or perhaps to get a new smart programmable Wi-Fi temperature control, as mine is an outdated dial type and doesn’t work so well anymore. I also enjoy cooking a lot more now than when I was younger. Perhaps I have more patience now.
