Although it may seem odd, wouldn’t it be nice if your fireplace could be used to heat other rooms in your lake house? I love thinking outside the box from time to time.
It is not the most efficient way to heat a large lake house with many rooms that are very far from the fireplace, since a fireplace only heats the immediate room more or less.
Since my office is on the opposite side of the lake house from the fire, I do not get much heat there. It would be cool if the company developed some kind of zone control heating that would allow you to direct the heat from the fireplace into other rooms. It may exist already, but I haven’t come across it yet. I am not an expert in heating and air conditioning, so perhaps there is a service that provides this type of service already. Tonight marks a special occasion as I am preparing one of my favorite dishes from scratch. Indian chicken curry. At a restaurant the other night, I got some and found it to be really tasty, but the portion was so small for the price that I will not return. The extra money I save from eating at the Lake House would be better spent on an HVAC service plan or perhaps a new smart programmable Wi-Fi thermostat since mine is an outdated dial type and is no longer reliable. Furthermore, I enjoy cooking a great deal more now than I did when I was younger. This might be due to my increased patience.
