I have made a lot of bad choices in life when it comes to business.
This is why I am not a business owner nor a businessman. I am a regular joe who works in an office doing accounting for a heating and air conditioning company. With being an employee of a heating and air conditioning company I get perks. And one that was offered to me lately was to get on their heat and a/c service and protection plan for half off! This was an offer I could not pass up. It was actually a great choice. The first good choice I ever made from a business standpoint. How is this business you may ask? Well, because it just is! Anything that involves a deal and money for a product and service is business to me. I am so glad I took the offer, because about a month later we had this really bad storm that beat the living hell out of my central heating and air conditioning system! If I had not had the heating and air conditioning service plan in place with the HVAC company that I work for, the repairs alone for my HVAC unit would have cost me over five hundred bucks! But because I had this heating and air conditioning service plan at the discounted price from the heat and a/c company I do accounting for, it ended up costing me only two hundred bucks! And that two hundred bucks was just part of the monthly fee that I pay to have the HVAC service and protection plan.
