My neighbor Mike in high university was the cool kid.
She consistently had chics around him in university and was consistently in with the cool crowd.
I was an outsider consistently looking in and wishing I was 1 of them. She had an seasoned 75 Mustang and the windows were so dark that when a cop pulled him over they couldn’t see a thing inside. She told myself and others she put triple 70% tint on the windows and even the windshield had it going down about halfway so she could hardly see out. I don’t suppose how she drove at night. She said the window film was illegal and finally the cops made him take it off or risk getting the car impounded along with a host of other fees. I remember seeing her car weaving down the street at night sometimes because she couldn’t see the road clearly, it looked love a drunk driver or something. Probably having triple dark window tinting was not the smartest method for a celebrationing teenager but she could care less. To top it off her license plate said “Dealin” which was the word she would use for picking up ladies. She was a character and the people I was with and I are still friends to this day some 40 years later. The funny section is she now owns a commercial window film upgrade supplier and is married with 4 kids to the same woman for 30 years. I need to supply seasoned Mike a call sometime and see how she is doing. I lost touch with a lot of my seasoned friends.
