I had been needing to buy more air filters for quite some time now, but I had been delaying it.
Due to inflation, everything has been going up and price, and so I am trying not to buy very much except the necessities.
I was able to go without buying A/C filters for a long time, due to already having a few extra. However, I couldn’t go forever, because eventually I went through those as well. Finally, the HVAC provider closest to me was having an irresistible sale going on. They were offering to buy 3 HEPA air filters, get 3 free. There was no way I was going to get a deal this good again, so I decided now was the day to buy those filters. The sale only laste today, and I knew I wasn’t going to be the only one taking advantage of this deal. So I made sure to go early and buy the filters while they were still there. Luckily, in the early morning hours the A/C store wasn’t busy, and I was able to take advantage of the sale with ease. While I was there, I spotted a reusable air filter, and I bought one of those as well. I always wanted to try a washable filter, but I had heard so many things about HEPA filters, I knew I needed some of those too. I will probably have to try both of them and see which one saves me more money in the long run and which one improves the air quality the most.
