If your air conditioner is not blowing cold air, it could be that it's low on Freon gas. If Freon or Refrigerant is low or has run out altogether, a charge will be needed to get your method laboring again. During the peak of summer, ensure that your Freon is charged officially to keep yourself cool & comfortable. Your method will also run more efficiently, resulting in lower utility bills. The refrigerant gas in your air conditioner will last for the life of the unit, but leaks can occur & this will lead to refrigerant gas leaking out. As the refrigerant levels decrease, your air conditioner will produce less cool air. If the coolant becomes completely empty, your method will produce no cool air at all. When your method has a refrigerant leak, you may notice a few signs. If your method is not running as efficiently as it usually does, you may have a refrigerant leak. In the case of a refrigerant leak, the condenser fan may produce lower temperatures due to a lack of refrigerant. Look at the coils in your method if you notice ice & contact an Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist to have your refrigerant levels maintained. A leak that produces an oily residue may indicate that there is a refrigerant leak. What is a refrigerant charge? Let me explain. Before refrigerant is recharged, your method must be warmed up. In order to make sure that there is an even charge, the air serviceman will need to keep the compressor running. When adding refrigerant to a system, it is self-explanatory to overload the system, a well-trained serviceman will think to add refrigerant in small increments. The method should be run between each increment to check pressure levels. Once the refrigerant has been restored to the proper level your method should be laboring correctly without the initial complications arising again.
