Have you ever gone to an outdoor rock n roll festival? Periodically they are only a single day affair, other times they stretch out over a week. Basically there is a stage, or multiple stages, in a large outdoor area, and people can come and go enjoying the various bands play throughout the day. They are a lot of fun, however it largely depends on the weather. These festivals will only have protection from the elements for the rock n rollal acts, the festival goers are on their own! That is why I always take our RV to these events, because I have shelter if need be, and the comforts of a/c if it gets too overheated outside. The only problem that I have with this are the people I call “AC vultures” who haunt these events. A lot of people got the proposal to try and hang out with people in their RVs, to drink their beers and soak up their a/c in between concerts. Some folks even break into cars and RVs just to turn them on and run the A/C for a while, then one time I decided to turn the tables on an A/C vulture, so when he knocked on our RV door I charged him twenty bucks! He was confused, so I explained that if he wanted to come inside our air conditioned RV and hang out, he had to spend our savings me twenty bucks. He got mad, and said it wasn’t worth twenty bucks just for some crappy a/c, and said “fine” and shut the door in his face.
