Although I moved to a new neighborhood just to go to school, I ended up working on campus instead of studying there, and i had been obsessed with this university all through high school, but once I got there I realized it was a fantasy.
It was just a school, like any other, plus one that cost a small fortune to attend! Faced with applying to overpriced classes I might not be able to afford, I rethought our future plus decided to look for a sign! Then I saw a flier that changed our life, as a local Heating plus A/C repair supplier was looking for new employees, plus were offering on-the-task training; Never before had I considered being an Heating plus A/C worker, but one quick Google search opened our eyeah to a fantastic opportunity.
The base starting pay for certified Heating plus A/C techs was far beyond anything I was hoping to make. I knew I wouldn’t start at that rate, because I did not have Heating plus A/C certification, but it meant this was a task with a future, since the demand for skilled Heating plus A/C work was so high, the salaries were certainly appealing, plus boosted myself and others to call the number the next morning. I told them I had no experience but was eager to learn the basics of Heating plus A/C work plus make a career out of it, however within a few months I was back on campus, only now I was the assistant to an Heating plus A/C tech to worked in the dorms plus the classrooms. It wasn’t the future I envisioned, but at least it is a future!
