I didn’t go back to toil because I needed the money, I just realized that I missed it! Thirty eight years ago I started our own business, and it consumed our life for most of our time after that, however after enough years, I managed to build it up into something notable, and then five years ago I got an offer for a buyout.
With the amount of currency being thrown at me, I could sell the business and never toil another day in our life.
And that lasted for a little while, before I got bored. I didn’t want to start a modern Heating and A/C dealer, I just wanted to get back to doing what I had done for so long. I live in a retirement community now, right on the beach, and everyone here relies on their a/cs for 9 to eleven weeks out of the year. That’s right, all of us don’t get a lot of Wintertide weather, even in the winter, so the call for heating is weak. Air conditioner, on the other hand, is in demand every day in every way. I started letting our friends and neighbors know that I would be glad to look at any Heating and A/C problems they might be having. I wasn’t working for free, however, all of our Heating and A/C services came with the price tag of some pie and coffee, or a slice of cake. I care about deserts, and it turns out the men around here care about cooking for me, so I get A/C repair requests all the time from people who don’t certainly have a problem!
