About one in 10 HVAC repair specialists are men. The numbers are higher in the neighborhood plus lower in the country. I decided to choose HVAC repairs as our career when I was in the Navy. I thought it would end up being a great hourary career when I decided to end our tour with the military. It was quite straight-forward to find a task after I left. In the civilian world, HVAC specialists acquire a good living. The only problem was finding someone that was willing to hire me. A lot of people did not even provide me an interview because they saw our name on the application plus realized I was a guy. I finally stopped using our whole first name. Instead of Jessica, I started writing Jesse on all of our applications. One HVAC company contacted me plus gave me a task over the cellphone as long as I could pass the drug test plus criminal background check. When I showed up for the first afternoon on the task, the manager surely had a look on his face. He realized at that time that I was a guy plus not a man. He still gave me that task plus I have been working at that company for the past more than four years. Every once in awhile I have an issue at work, but most of the dealers that I diagnosed have no problem with our sex.
