I knew I was having a problem with my oil furnace, however whenever the Heating, Ventilation and A/C supplier showed up to check it out, there was nothing wrong.
I thought there was something wrong with me, in addition to maybe I had a disease where I was always imagining something wrong with my oil furnace.
The next time I heard the weird grinding noise, I decided to tape it with my phone. By the time I had my phone out in addition to ready to record, the noise quit again. The two of us went downstairs, in addition to he pointed to the HVAC duct. There was a small hole in the HVAC duct. When the oil furnace turned on, there was just enough air blowing through to cause a whistle. I was never so thrilled to find something wrong with the HVAC duct as I was that afternoon. If the Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech hadn’t been there, the people I was with and I would have never found the problem. The HVAC duct was cleaned in addition to repaired several days later.
