I just don’t think I can picture myself laboring for anyone any longer.
The pandemic has been incredibly awful in so several ways.
So several people lost their lives too early & in a horrible fashion. There is no denying that & I’m thankful I wasn’t a single of them. This though made it easier to stay put in the air conditioning at lake house as the pandemic raged. And staying at lake house forced myself and others to reinvent myself after my task was clipped due to the financial chaos brought on by all of this. But somehow, I’m still here & I’m laboring from the air conditioning in my lake house now. Through some perseverance, I turned some online gigs into a steady gig that is paying the bills. It’s only been about a year & a half now but I’m making nearly what I was in the zone controlled Heating & A/C of the arena I was laboring. And there is no boss to micromanage my every move. Plus, being your own boss also allows myself and others to have my schedule be the way I want my schedule not the other way around. So the plan of going back to the soul crushing position in that zone controlled Heating & A/C was not at all attractive. No, that was not going to happen. I don’t mind hustling & laboring a lot whenever I have to. Plus, I’m always lake house when the Heating & A/C professional is coming to do the Heating & A/C maintenance. For sure, I got to keep the Heating & A/C equipment in tip top shape as my comfort is toil related now as well.
