The yoga classes were hard in the beginning

My wife said we need to start trying different things, and I thought she was talking about a different bottle of wine.

I was surprised when I realized she meant exercise and fitness classes.

My wife decided to sign both of us up for a yoga class for beginners. I wasn’t thrilled about the class, but I agreed to join my wife. When we walked into the room, we saw a dozen or more people on mats that were on the ground. They were moving and stretching. The yoga for beginners classes didn’t look like a workout to me, until I started moving around. I was very surprised by my lack of physical fitness. I thought I would find it easier to exercise and perform the yoga poses, but I felt stiff and sore after the first class. My wife and I have attended that yoga for beginners class every week for the past six weeks. The classes were really hard in the beginning, but I have definitely made some changes and improvements. It’s no longer difficult to get into the easy poses and I am working on some of the more difficult ones as well. I don’t think my wife and I are ready to move to an intermediate class yet, but I am certainly enjoying all of the time we spend in this class. My wife was right when she suggested that we tried different things. I never would have attempted a yoga class in the past and we are having a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what she thinks of next.
