When my wife and I first moved into our new neighborhood, there was just our one neighbor who came over to greet us.
He was a really nice guy and we hit it off pretty well from the get go.
He said we could come over anytime and so we did. My wife ended up making a nice lasagne and she baked some brownies for dessert which we brought to his house. He was delighted and invited us in. When we all sat down together at the table to enjoy dinner, everything went pretty swell. I actually mentioned to our neighbor that he must get quality HVAC service because the temperature control settings were wonderful and the air quality was also nice. Our neighbor laughed and said he worked on the HVAC himself, so he took that as a compliment. My wife asked if you didn’t have to be a professional to work on the HVAC equipment and that’s when our neighbor said that was true. He then said that he was an HVAC professional but he was retired. That was really cool to hear and I even asked if he would check out our HVAC sometime. He didn’t hesitate to come over the next day to check everything out. He actually seemed to appreciate our HVAC system too because he said it was well maintained and it was a good model. He told us that he would come over to maintain our HVAC if we kept cooking him some good meals. He said his wife passed away the previous year and it was hard for him. He wasn’t really depressed it seemed, but he said he wasn’t the greatest cook and that lasagne dinner reminded him of his wife’s cooking.
