The other day, my wife and I were supposed to do our date night.
- We have been doing one date night per month where it’s just the two of us enjoying a romantic dinner.
Well, this past time we didn’t really feel like getting out of the house. We decided to have our dinner delivered to us. We ended up ordering from one of our preferred indian restaurants because their chicken tikka masala is to die for! So while we were waiting on our food to arrive, I got a fire going in the fireplace and then I cruised Netflix to see what movie we might want to watch together. When I saw the sequel to the 300 movie, I thought it might be fun to watch. My wife also enjoyed the first movie even though there’s so much bloodshed and gore. She said we could watch that while eating our dinner together. It wasn’t a very romantic date night for us, but the fireplace was keeping up perfectly toasty and the food was delicious! Admittedly, I had to put my food down at some points during the movie and I ended up putting the food in the fridge for a later time while my wife and I enjoyed relaxing together and watching the rest of the movie. Honestly, she didn’t even make it through the whole movie. I mean to give her credit, she made it about half way. When the movie was over she ended up waking back up and I gave her some wine to drink. After that, we just enjoyed each other’s company while drinking wine.
