I put a lot of thought into the gift that I got for my wife.
I ended up getting something that I knew she would cherish forever, at least I hoped she would.
It was this beautiful ruby necklace with a lovely heart shape made of gold. I saved up a little bit of money to get her this special gift and I was dazzled by her reaction when I gave her the gift. We were relaxing there in front of our fireplace while we had the little ones with a babysitter. When she pulled out the gift she got for me, I smiled widely and wondered what it could be. It wasn’t in a very large box or anything. When I opened it and saw that it was a smart thermostat, I almost couldn’t help but jump up and down like an excited kid opening presents during Christmas. I held back my glee, but I hugged my wife because I always wanted to have a smart thermostat. I asked her if she minded that I install it right then and there, and she said it was alright. She knew that I wouldn’t be able to wait to try the thing out. Well, it didn’t even take me that long, maybe 20 minutes but that’s because I had to watch the installation video. Now we are able to control the temperature control settings with our phones and it’s the most fantastic thing. Like when we go on vacation, we can make adjustments and make sure the HVAC system is working fine. It really is amazing and I especially love the other cool features like auto learning mode and geofencing.
