The ameature HVAC technician installed the a/c incorrectly

Even though I have been in this industry for a long time, I still see new things and new problems every day.

Last week, we were busy with an appointment at a location.

The customer had contacted us saying that her new a/c had malfunctioned, and she was worried that the a/c workman had done a low-quality job. She complained that it was too early to perform the annual cooling system service and we agreed with her, however when we visited the premises, we noted that there was a problem with the a/c replacement. The HVAC unit had been fitted in the wrong place, where there was no free airflow. This situation had caused the ductless multi-split and the dial thermostat to malfunction. The customer had opted to get a/c technicians online as opposed to from the local business. This had cost her as the engineers did a shoddy job. These amateurs did not know more about a/c than I did. Though they got a legit unit from the a/c business. My colleague stated that he had seen a lot of these cases but only when installing commercial a/c systems as most commercial buildings lack the space to house an entire system, and after we re-fitted the unit, we advised on the importance of handling the a/c repair services and the a/c repair! One of the other problems that are related to replacement is having the wrong size unit. Most homeowners are under the impression that big units are more efficient and this cannot be further from the truth.
