I had just started working as a human resource manager in this new company.

Once I was done with the induction, it was time to get down to work. I had received a couple of complaints about the commercial air conditioning system. I also felt that the indoor comfort was not of high quality. I scheduled an appointment to have the ductless multi-split unit checked. I could feel that the air within the office was humid and sometimes it was a bit difficult to breathe especially in the afternoon when the sun was hottest. According to the records, the air conditioning installation was done about three years ago. The previous HR had some ac workman do a/c service on the unit about a year ago. The air conditioning technician came and assessed the HVAC unit. Apparently, the issue was due to a rusted heat exchanger. The dial thermostat had also malfunctioned. The air conditioning repair service helped fix these issues, the experts replaced the regulator with a programmable one. We got a good deal on the heat exchanger from the air conditioning supplier at the local business complex downtown. This work was done in the evening when the staff had left for home. It was easier since we did not interfere with the daily work of the staff. The experts who obviously knew more about air conditioning recommended that I ensure that every fall, we schedule an air conditioning maintenance whether the unit is a new air conditioning or an aged one. This would help limit the issues and also lengthen the timespan of the unit.
