When the pandemic first hit, I started working from home right away and was able to work comfortably at my kitchen table.
Since my house was full of teenagers doing school on zoom, pets, and many more distractions, I would just have to go outside to take calls.
When my employer announced that we would be working remotely full time, I knew that I had to find another solution. I decided to build a backyard home office. The building of the structure went according to plan, and I was all set to be working in my new office very quickly. The only thing I had left to do was set up heating and cooling in my new office. A ductless mini-cut has an evaporator and a condenser like a traditional Heating and A/C system. The flow of coolant can be reversed in order to both heat and cool the room. The replacement was quick and painless, as I only needed to drill one three inch hole for all of the necessary components. Thanks to my ductless mini-split, my backyard home office is a perfectly comfortable place for me to work without distractions.
