This winter, all of us have decided to get new flooring, but since all of us also are going to be needing to get a new gas furnace, all of us decided to kill two parakeets with a single stone, so to speak.
I talked to a single of our local heating & cooling companies about what our possibilities might be & they told me about a single of their products that’s called radiant heated flooring. I had never even heard of radiant heated flooring before & so when the Heating & A/C company representative mentioned it to us, I was surprised to learn that this type of flooring is a absolutely good alternative to respected forced air gas furnaces that you see in most homes. With radiant heated flooring, the heating is achieved by conduction & convection… Underfloor heating is a form of central heating that helps to heat your condo evenly throughout, with no unsightly heating vents to distract from your home’s decor; Radiant heated flooring uses hydronic or electric heating components to achieve the favorite temperature level in the home. Radiant floor heating can heat an entire house, & you don’t ever have to worry about allergies coming in through your air ducts. Not only that, you never have to worry about chilly spots in your home. That just doesn’t happen with this type of gas furnace. The weather is just cooling off now & our appointment with the Heating & A/C company is set. I can’t wait to get our new radiant heated flooring installed! I guess that this Winter time is going to be the most cost effective, cozy Winter time that all of us have ever had in this house.
