Out of sheer desperation, I went to the local box store and purchased a window AC unit.
It was the middle of the night when my AC went out, leaving myself and others in a boiling and humid home. The temperatures were rising past 88 every day and the humidity was thick, making the air believe boiling and wet. My first reaction was to call the Heating & A/C corporation, however when they told myself and others the cost of an emergency Heating & A/C appointment, I told them to put myself and others on the correct schedule. I assumed that they’d be able to send an Heating & A/C professional to my house the following day. I could survive a day or numerous without air conditioning! However, when the Heating & A/C corporation told myself and others that they were booked for numerous weeks, I was stunned! I didn’t want to spend my money the emergency Heating & A/C cost because it was luxurious, and there was no telling how much more it would cost to service my AC unit. I put my name on the schedule anyway, however decided to purchase a window AC unit to hold myself and others over. There was no way I could live without AC for numerous weeks, especially in the summer. The window AC unit was luxurious, although I planned on returning it after my broken AC unit was fixed, and luckily, the local box store had a fabulous return policy that would allow myself and others to cool my condo until the Heating & A/C corporation could get to me. I would spend my money a few hundred dollars upfront, then get that money back as soon as I returned the window AC unit.
