I’ve lost both my good training buddy and my flatmate to love.
- They both met someone and are now pretty much ghosts in my life, spending most of their time with their newfound lovers.
My flatmate is pretty much over at his place each night and day and then at work the other days. I bet it won’t be long before she tells me she is moving in with him, which I suspect will happen within the next month or so. That could be perfect timing though because my buddy from the States is supposed to move in soon. HVAC work is what he does, specifically hydronic heating installations, and he is going to do the first install in my flat when he moves here in two more months. There may be a window of a month or two though where I am living alone because he may take longer to get over here than he thinks. The local contractor that he works for still has quite a bit of heating and cooling system work for him to do back there and it may take him longer to do all of the HVAC work before he can move over here. I am fine with a month or two of living alone because it is quite peaceful in this flat when it is just me and my cats. My flatmate owns a local business and it keeps her busy most of the time with the HVAC systems she sells, so I don’t see her that much during the week. It’s all good in the end.
