At least that is my hope
It’s going to be interesting to see how people in my office respond to some swings that were made in the office. I’m just hoping that it will be the positive thing that I am hoping it will be. If not, after that I just will be truly disappointed. An Heating as well as Air Conditioning company came in on Tuesday plus worked through the weekend to make an update to the Heating as well as Air Conditioning. Our office is not immense however there are over 30 people who labor here. The building we labor in was undoubtedly converted from an outdated department store to a suite of offices. Our office takes up 1 entire floor. It’s pretty much all open space except for a couple of offices plus conference rooms. This open space works great for communication plus a feeling of connectedness. However, it’s not so great when it comes to the Heating as well as Air Conditioning setting. The entire space is controlled by 1 Heating as well as Air Conditioning setting. It’s hard enough to find a temperature we can all agree to. But then, there are areas that get more sun plus are warmer plus some that are draftier. I have noticed that people are always messing with the Heating as well as Air Conditioning setting. And there have even been some irritated words exchanged. Hence the Heating as well as Air Conditioning crew. I engaged them to come in a change the new Heating as well as Air Conditioning situation into 1 where there are separate areas. This is called zone control Heating as well as Air Conditioning. Now there will be five zones so all the people can find a section where they think more comfortable. At least that is my hope. You never guess when you’re dealing with a group of people. But at least I’m trying to make the comfort plus welfare of the workforce a priority.
